- Job Description: Job Title: Consolidation Analyst (APAC) Department: Finance Department Location: APAC (Remote / On-site based on business needs) Job Overview Responsible for APAC regional financial consolidation, financial reporting, and core accounting operations. Coordinate with local finance teams and third-party service providers across APAC countries to ensure standardized execution of month-end/quarter-end closing, conduct forecasting and rolling forecast analysis, support BVA and ad-hoc projects, and review key accounting adjustments to drive regional financial compliance and data accuracy. Key Responsibilities 1.Financial Consolidation & Reporting • Lead APAC regional financial consolidation, ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP/Chinese GAAP) and group policies. • Prepare and submit consolidated financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings accurately and timely. • Standardize consolidation processes and execution standards across APAC local entities. 2. Month-end & Quarter-end Closing • Coordinate with local finance teams and third-party service providers for month-end/quarter-end closing. • Review and approve key closing adjustments: inventory write-off, AR write-off, and other critical accounting entries. • Monitor closing progress, resolve cross-country closing issues to ensure on-time completion. 3. Forecasting & Analysis • Conduct monthly/quarterly forecasting and rolling forecast analysis for APAC region. • Analyze forecast vs. actual variances, identify business drivers and provide actionable insights. • Support BVA (Business Valuation Analysis) and ad-hoc financial projects as required. 4. AR & Cross-functional Coordination • Track monthly AR credit status across APAC countries and manage DSO to align with assigned budget targets • Liaise with local finance heads and commercial leaders to follow up on overdue receivables and resolve collection issues. • Collaborate with regional and local teams to optimize financial processes and resolve operational bottlenecks. 5. Core Accounting & Compliance • Perform regular accountant duties: ensure compliance with local and group accounting policies. • Conduct financial data review and validation to guarantee accuracy and integrity of regional financial data. 6. System improvement • Support and coordinate with the regional finance for ERP launch project as needed Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred. • 5+ years of experience in financial consolidation, financial reporting, or regional accounting (APAC experience a plus). • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and consolidation tools (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream); advanced Excel skills. • Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills to collaborate with multi-country teams. • Familiarity with inventory write-off, AR write-off, and month-end/quarter-end closing processes. • Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
